This whole experiment in blogging is really a writing project, wherein we hope to get Patrick writing and enjoying the act of writing on an almost daily basis. Not necessarily about anything angsty (that's Jodi's department) or snarky and intellectually stimulating (that's me), but just anything that comes to mind. The great thing about blogging is that it can be completely stream-of-concious; there is no practice needed when taking 10 minutes out of your computer game playing and noting an epiphany you just had about the world. By making writing a daily habit, we hope Patrick (who we already know is plenty verbose) will learn to enjoy putting his thoughts into words.
