I suppose i never thought i'd post again, but these days i seem to be thinking a lot. Sometimes things go wrong, and things happen that make you feel disappointed. Maybe you don't get as good a grade as you like, or maybe your group partners don't work as hard as you do. Things happen, and they don't always go as planned. But, when confronted with disappointment, some people give up. Or at least they feel that way. In my limited, oh so naive high school view, I think that humans can't really give up hope, without giving up that which makes them different from other living organisms. Take a mouse for example. They live day to day, scrounging whatever they can. What are they doing this for? Animals live their lives to do three things: eat, sleep, and reproduce. I believe that humans on the other hand, are capable of hope. Hope is what causes us to strive for something. To strive for "happiness", "success", anything at all. Without this hope, this vision of a better tomorrow, where our lives will be better in whatever way, we would probably eat and sleep all day (although that might be nice sometimes). In conclusion, i would like to say this: never lose hope, and never let disappointment take over your life!
P.S. does anyone read this besides my sisters??
